Creative Director
We're seeking a highly motivated, experienced and hands-on individual who will drive and implement creative direction for a new interactive online video technology. To be successful in this role, the candidate must be a team player, possess the ability to work independently, have breadth and depth of experience in creative design, and have passion for learning our business and products. The ideal candidate will have a diverse background with experience in commercial animated video or video games. This is a role for a problem solver who excels in coming up with multiple creative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative treatment and direct design (graphics and animation)
- Write copy for VO of animated video projects
- Lead creative sessions and develop design concepts
- Translate concepts and ideas effectively, visual communication tools a plus
- Strong art direction background
- Ensure production deadlines and quality control standards are met
- Work with creative management, production, technology development, sales, marketing and corporate management to further develop and improve production systems and processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
In addition to initiative, integrity, strong work ethic and being a team player, you must have the following:
- An impressive portfolio and/or reel
- 3+ years experience in a creative role ideally in gaming
- Understand animation techniques using tools including After Effects and Flash
- Knowledge of various web technologies
- Experience coordinating teams and workflows in a fast-paced environment
- Smart, creative, and assertive with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
