Inside Sales Executive – New Media
We are looking for a driven Sales Executive to join their growing team. The successful candidate will introduce the B2B Video Production platform to potential resellers across North America. Resellers will include web marketing agencies, PR firms, web designers and traditional advertising agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Target Account prospecting and sales calls/demos via the phone
- Manage and maintain customer profiles in CRM from lead generation to final opportunity status
- Convert prospects to reseller accounts
- Grow and nurture reseller accounts
- Qualify and develop “warm” leads by performing and documenting end-user requirements analyses
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly pipeline and forecast goals and defined objectives
Requirements for this position:
- Great communication skills, oral and written
- Experienced B2B prospecting account management, and closing skills
- Experience with CRM lead management, lead nurturing
- In-depth telephone prospecting and closing experience
- Team player, hard working, dedicated and conscientious
- BA, Diploma or equivalent sales experience

VP Sales & Business Development – Web Media
SoMedia Networks BBN3 is seeking a highly motivated VP of Sales & Business Development with previous success building and managing an early stage sales and business development team in advertising, web media, web marketing, or other related business. The successful candidate will provide leadership and coordination of sales and business development functions as the company takes its B2B video services marketplace and production platform to market across North America.
The VP of Sales & Business Development will be responsible for developing and implementing strategy across inside sales, outside sales, channel sales and strategic partnership development. Responsibilities will include achieving specific sales targets, hiring and managing world class sales and business development talent, and acting as integral part of the company’s overall executive and leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and deliver on a sales strategy, revenue targets and individual team member goals that meet the company’s strategic goals as determined by executive management.
- Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts, and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
- Work synergistically with marketing, production and technology development to ensure strategic goals are achieved and client expectations are met.
- Become an expert by developing and maintaining a fanatical understanding and knowledge of the company`s products, industry, technologies and competitive landscape
- Hire, motivate and mentor individuals and teams to exceed objectives through coaching, regular reporting of results, and the use of incentives
- Create, manage and control sales plans, budgets and expenses through effective budget development, planning processes and monitoring management.
- Participate as a member of the senior management team providing leadership and assisting in the development of the company’s business and operational strategies.
Requirements for this position:
In addition to initiative, integrity, strong work ethic and being a team player:
- Minimum 7+ years of sales experience with 4 years in a senior management position in a similar or related field such as advertising, media, online marketing or content
- Proven track record of hiring and managing sales teams who meet/exceed sales objectives.
- Proven ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
- Established contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
- Start up or early stage experience
- Bachelors, Diploma or equivalent
