BBN3’s News Team of Producers, Editors and Video Journalists are set to “own the streets of Vancouver” during the Olympics.

Working round-the-clock from BBN3’s Vancouver 2010 Media Center, the team will provide more than 30 broadcasters across North America, such as CHEK News, NBC and others with a constant stream of FREE, grass-roots, non-venue television news coverage – the kind of coverage they can’t get on their own.

Delegates, journalists and the media are invited to visit the Media Center while the Olympic News Team is at work and join us to mingle, network and watch sporting events as they occur on big screen TVs in our lounge.

Stay tuned for more details.

In preparation for our News Coverage of Vancouver during the month of February 2010, we asked British Colombians what they felt was the most important topic of interest or area of concern as it related to the Olympic Games coming to Vancouver. We wanted to get behind the sporting events and discover how the community was experiencing these games.

The results are interesting. 39% of respondents are concerned about costs, 26% are concerned with transportation issues, 13% cite security as a topic of interest, while 8% sited the legacy of the games.
